ESL Vocabulary / Grammar Comic Strips

~a K8’s Arts, Crafts and ESL series-
This exercise is designed for ELL students, for any level.
Materials needed: Color paper, color markers / pencils , grammar lesson examples , magazines, scissors, glue, computer- canva.com (digital)
Directions: Have your students create a comic strip, or comic slide using terms / phrases learned from a specific grammar or vocabulary lesson. The comic strip should consist of a story line or dialogue that uses the new phrases or words learned in class. Students have the option of drawing their own comic strip, or using magazine cut outs. At the end of the lesson, students will be able to introduce their project to the class - describing the setting, the dialogue, character, and other elements of the artwork, including the grammar / vocabulary they used in the project. Students can also talk about what materials they used to create the comic as well. I have provided a few examples here: (99+) Comic strips - Arts and Crafts Grammar | Kate M Ye - Academia.edu
Enjoy! xo ~*
